Bonnie Dahlhauser, M.A.
Bonnie is a trained facilitator of Psych-K processes, which empower individuals to free themselves from self-limiting beliefs and to create for themselves the life they dream of. Her gentle approach provides guidance in discovering what may be holding you back from realizing your goals.
Having grown up in rural Iowa, Bonnie spent years of dedicated service as a nun, a teacher, principal and counselor in private and public schools. Her most recent work has been as an Intercultural Coach and Trainer for educators in Twin Cities area schools.
Bonnie’s personal journey has led her through studying, reflecting, meditation and spiritual exploration to a new perspective on living life each day. Having experienced a heart attack, depression, grief and loss, her philosophy is that life is too precious and too short to expend our energy on negative and divisive endeavors. Her passion is in realizing our connections with the Oneness and Energy of the Universe and celebrating the wonder and magnificence of each person’s being as an active weaver of the evolving and unfolding Tapestry of All That Is.
Bonnie lives in the Twin Cities area with her wife, Teri Lewis.
Teri Lewis, M.S.
I arrived at working with Psych-K through my own personal journey.
I worked for many years in education as a teacher, administrator and high school counselor. I transitioned to working as an Intercultural Coach and Professional Developer, helping people build openness and positive relationships with those different than themselves. This work helped broaden my worldview as well as my participants’.
During my lifetime, I struggled with allergies, asthma, food sensitivities, irritable bowel syndrome, pre-diabetes, osteoporosis and eventually cancer. In searching to improve my health, I personally researched anything I could get my hands on. At the same time, I went to multiple health professionals in traditional medicine, alternative medicine, complementary medicine and psychotherapy. Eventually I worked with a functional medicine doctor and nutritionist which gave me great hope for recovery.
Dumbfounded that my health didn’t improve, I continued searching and learned that all ill health originates in our belief systems and all healing flows out of our beliefs as well. I knew that I had never wanted to be sick and that I had repeatedly implemented what I had been directed to do. I also knew I had incorporated positive self-talk and a willingness to do things differently. I clearly had done everything I could think of in my conscious mind. So why didn’t it work?
The fact was, my subconscious beliefs had been overriding my efforts and I needed to change my negative and destructive subconscious beliefs in order to heal. Then I discovered Psych-K as an avenue to replace these negative beliefs with positive ones. This process aligned my subconscious with my conscious mind that had been trying so hard to heal my body all this time. As an outcome, Psych-K has empowered me to take responsibility for my well-being in a deep and long-lasting way. Now I want to make this opportunity available to anyone else desiring a similar change.
